The Church Series

What does the word "church" mean to you? For some there may be a feeling of peace and harmony. For others there may be skepticism, negativity, or ambivalence. The church meant a lot to Jesus. He died for the church and purchased the salvation of those in the church with his blood (Acts 20:28).
Such a testament of love and sacrifice shows the value placed by Jesus on the church. The church had great value for us as well. We can understand God's purpose for the church in a pure and simple way. We can overcome the confusion caused by the well-meaning yet misguided intentions of those who may love Jesus but see little value in His church. This series of studies provides an overview of what the church is, how it operates and why it matters. |
